A Surprise-ingly Unique Vendor
When I first sat down with the bride and groom to discuss the vision for their wedding, the bride was SO excited to tell me about this unique, surprise vendor that she has just hired. She explained that there were "in memory" family members that would be missed at the wedding and she really wanted to do something special for her family to commemorate this. She hired this super talented painter that would show up and be "behind the scenes", to take a photo of her and the groom at a specific time throughout the ceremony and then would paint throughout the reception. This painting would include her deceased family members standing in the crowd to witness their commitment to each other!
I was ecstatic for her and the groom! What an thoughtful thing to have, a piece of time frozen on their most important day with EVERYONE they love! I was super curious how this would be done.
As I was photographing the ceremony on the wedding day, I didn't even notice the "surprise guest" in the crowd! She was super discreet in taking the photo she wanted to use for her painting and she didn't give away any bit of the surprise to the guest while she was painting during the dinner service.
When the bride and groom brought their family members over to see what the painter, Dianna, had created, it was such an emotional experience that I cried along with all of the guests! Dianna's painting was exceptional!
I had never heard of such a unique vendor before this day. I think it's a wonderful memento to have hanging on the wall after your wedding day is over. I've been told that Dianna can customize your painting and tailor it to the bride and grooms wishes. Just, WOW!
